The KENDALL ART GALLERY, home of the SAN ANGELO ART CLUB,
has opened the Benge Studio for children and adult art classes and
workshops. Renovations on the outside of the building started last
year. Now the spacious studio has been restored to its former
self, a place for artists to meet and learn new techniques from other
artists. The SAN ANGELO ART CLUB has installed a new air
conditioning unit for the studio, purchased a mylar overhead demo
mirror, and a large light table has been donated. The Benge Studio
was built in 1952 in memory of Marion Goldwire Benge
by her family.
Space
is available for Workshops and classes.
The
KENDALL ART GALLERY is open Wednesday 9am to 1pm and Saturday and Sunday
1-4 pm.
Call the Gallery at 653-4405 during open hours for more information.
