Entries Received October 25 & October 28 - 10am to 1pm
Show Opens November 4th
Reception November 5th Awards 2:30pm
Pick up art December 10th (gallery closes until after New Year)

$15 per entry or 3 entries $35 for members (10% commission on sales)
$20 per entry or 3 entries $50 for non-members (20% commission on sales)
$10 per entry or 3 entries $25 for university students w/ID (10% comm. on sales)
Only paintings in Oil, Watercolor, & Acrylic will be accepted.
There will be 2 categories.
- Miniature paintings no larger than 8x10 may be entered (realistic work only).
- Larger paintings will be judged in a separate category (paintings not to exceed 60” in any dimension including frame.)
Artists may enter both categories and win a cash prize in each. We will award a Best of Show and a People’s Choice. The People’s Choice award will be given near the end of the show. An estimated $3,000 will be for awards & show expense.
ELIGIBILITY & SPECIFICATIONS:
Open to All Area Wide Artists. All entries must be REALISTIC & ORIGINAL. No abstract, collage, computer generated art, or copies of workshop or classroom works. (Direct copies of professional photographs are not considered your original work).
All paintings must be properly framed & wired for hanging – (watercolor behind glass or plexiglass.)
No limit on number of entries. No wet paint or saw-tooth hangers. Cover your name for judging.
**If painting has been entered in a SAAC show & never won a ribbon you may enter it again (one time only). Also there will be no restrictions on age of painting. This will apply for all Artists, members & non-members for this show only.
A panel of 3 will be accepting entries in accordance with the regulations for C. R. Myers shows. SAAC reserves the right to refuse an entry not in good taste or not in compliance with SAAC regulations. Categories and number of places will be determined after all entries are recorded. Entries may not be removed from gallery before Dec. 10th without the approval of the exhibit chairperson. No refunds.

JAN. 6th “ARTIST OF THE YEAR” (all paintings from artist of the month)
NOTICE to all ARTISTS of the MONTH winners: Wednesday, January 3, 2018, the Exhibit Committee will be accepting the paintings listed below for the ARTIST OF THE YEAR AWARD. The Artist of the Year will be presented at the general meeting on January 8th . Pick up art work January 28th.

Voluntary donation of $10 from each artist requested …. Surprise awards
