CALENDAR: Wednesday, Sept. 3rd Entries Received 9:30 am – 1 pm
Saturday, Sept. 6th Show opens 10 am – 4 pm
Saturday, Sept. 27 Show closes at 4 pm
Sunday, Sept. 28 Pick up art work 1 to 3 pm @ Kendall Gallery

ENTRY FEES: $8 per entry - members (10% commission on sales)
$10 per entry - non-members (20% commission on sales)

AWARDS: 1st, 2nd, 3rd - ribbons & cash awards; Honorable Mentions - ribbons only

JUDGE: Susan Daniel, owner of The Black Swan Gallery, San Angelo, Texas.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to All Area Wide Artists

All styles and media accepted: abstract, collage, ceramics, sculpture, photography, pen & ink, pencil, oil, w/c, acrylic, pastel, hand/wood carvings, charcoal, etc. All work must be original, done without supervision, completed within the last 3 years and not previously entered in a judged SAAC show. No limit on numbers
of entries, sizes not to exceed 50” in any dimension, including frame. PLEASE - NO WET PAINT OR SAWTOOTH HANGERS. All three dimensional work should be able to sit on a table or pedestal.
The number of categories will be determined by number of entries in each medium. All works must be properly framed, wired, protected, mounted, and ready for hanging or display. All entries are to remain in the gallery until close of show. No refunds.

We are disappointed that our President, Mary Taylor, sadly announced her resignation at the January meeting. She and Ronnie are moving to Granbury where Ronnie has a new job. Mary has been President of our club for 2-1/2 years and has had many challenges to face during her tenure. We will miss her greatly, but we wish Ronnie and her "all the best" in their new adventure in their lives! Mary and Ron will be transferred to Associate members.

WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT DIANALEE JONES WAS NOMINATED AND UNANIMOUSLY VOTED IN AS PRESIDENT TO FILL MARY'S TERM. WE ARE CONFIDENT THAT SHE WILL DO AN EXCELLENT JOB GUIDING OUR CLUB OR THE REMAINDER OF OUR CLUB YEAR.
